You're right. Trustworthy married men do not recontact and want to meet with old girlfriends. Non trustworthy ones do.

I wouldn't spend too much time getting hung up on this. Take a few minutes to ponder what he is thinking, and then just forget about it. You are married, he is married, it just wouldn't happen. You don't want to make a fool of yourself thinking he wants an affair, if all he wants is to chat with you as friends. But I would be careful if I were you. You don't want to step on any toes, would you.

Do not meet him.
I had the same thing happen to me.
I did meet mine in person, and it eventually led to a divorce for me.
What happened with my former boyfriend of so very long ago? Why he is getting engaged to someone else this Christmas; and I am alone.
You have to understand you are attracted to the innocence you once shared with this man...and not actually the man himself.
Chalk it up to missing your youth, and forget him.

I don't see anything wrong with you meeting with your old boyfriend, provided that your respective spouses come along for the meeting. That way, everything is above board, and nothing is in the shadows. Go ahead and meet with him, you might get a new friend in his wife. Good luck.

Do you really want to be with someone who isn't committed to an important relationship they are currently involved in? How would you feel about possibly making someone else and their children miserable? If they only want to be friends, make sure the other woman is okay with it and aware of what's going on.

I'd meet up with him, preferably with your spouses. Make sure he knows that it's strictly friendship, now that you both are married to other people.
Make sure he respects his marriage enough to not try and mess around with a girlfriend from his past.
I believe he probably just wants to catch up and see how you're doing.

No, I'd say he's not happy in his marriage and he started thinking about the past. Tell him you're married and you and your husband could meet he and his wife somewhere. Odds are he's wanting to have an affair.

Maybe he does just wnat to touch base with old friends. I do that sometimes too. But it in no way means, I want that relationship back. Just talk to him to see what his intentions are. He can't want too much, since your both married.

Run for your life. If you think he is calling you because he has feeling for you, he hasnt. He will find you, use you and dump you again. Stay faithful to your man. He does not deserve this!
