on nintendo.com I am trying to register my games. It keeps saying error. Why? I entered in the code above the bar code. Please be as specific as possible

is there any way to register the game if you lost the paper?

it's not the bar code that you scan for the price, it's the special piece of paper inside the game box, the one that advertises nintendo.com and looks like an ad...it's where the manual and other ads are in the game box. hope that helped! = )

It is not the code above the bar code that you enter. There should be a insert with the game that says "Subscribe to Nintendo Power" on the front. There is a pin on the back.
