Bike paths along Lake Shore Drive - free
Shopping on Michigan Avenue - depends on what you buy but usually cost me loads!!
Window shopping on Michigan Avenue - free
Adler Planetarium
Brookfield zoo
Museum of Science and Industry
Field Museum
Chinatown
Greektown
Taste of Chicago
Blues Fest
Buckingham Fountain
Navy Pier
Too many clubs and bars to mention!
Casino gaming in close by Hammond Indiana
Sand dunes in Porter County Indiana
Marina's and beaches in Hammond Indiana
Tons of movie theaters
Concerts
Outdoor concerts
Ice capades
Theatre
Sporting events- Bulls, White Sox, Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks, etc.
One of the most fun things to do in Chicago is just to people watch. So many visitors from so many places, one can not help but to be amused. Great city, great times! Hope this helps and have fun!

When do you turn 21? That's when the fun in Chicago REALLY starts. Museums and stuff are cool, but nothing beats going to a lounge, hearing live music and enjoying a drink. Come back in a year.

afternoon tea: the lobby at the peninsula hotel has much better quality finger sandwiches and scones but the drake hotel ambiance makes you feel regal, I used to go there just for a hot chocolate
a cocktail at the 95th: say high to Nick
along the lake on the beach stroll from division street down to olive park and back
walk thru grant park from millennium park down past buckingham fountain to museum park and admire every single statue there

museums are definitley not fun.
there is lots to do; eat ; drink ; party
be sure to visit downtown and shop =]
visit neighborhoods such as lincoln park and bucktown.
