For $1 at Dollar General you can buy a jar of Vitamin E cream. It is great to keep the nail and cuticle smooth, strong and moisturized. I have spent alot of money on skin and nail stuff, and this is the greatest for nails! I massage it in to the nial and cuticle at least twice a day! I am a nurse and wash my hands alot, and this does the trick!

Your nails are determined by genetics and your general health. Make sure you have a good diet with proteins. Daily buff those nails as they grow out. Polish dries out the nails so use sparingly. Only use a non-acetone nail remover as acetone also dries the nail beds.

marketandtowells has good general advice, for more specific treatment for you nails you could try a product called Hoof Maker. It is marketed for horses, but human nails are made of the same thing and I know it works. My ex was a cosmetologist instructor and she swore by it.

It depends on what's wrong with them. Vitamins, anti-fungal meds, drink milk, keep clipped and clean.
