Well I'll give two guesses, Hay (living), and Hayil (mighty), but since I've never seen the H in his name before, I guess it might be another Jesus Christ. Jesus is a typical Spanish/Portuguese first name, and Christ is a typical Russian last name. So I'm figuring Jesus H Christ must be some Latino of Russian descent.

It doesn't stand for anything at all !
it was considered an insult to call out the name "JESUS CHRIST" When you had a near escape with something ( if something fell of a shelf for example and just missed you , you would say Jesus Christ that nearly hit me ) that was considered blasphemy against the lord !
So as a way around the saying , the letter "H" was added as Jesus "h" Christ does not / did not exist !

The H refers to "Holy", as in Jesus Holy Christ. It is simply an abreviation. Many people use the term "Holy Christ!", or "Jesus Holy Christ!" in exclaimation when they get surprised, startled, or scared, etc. These statements are considered to be cussing or swearing and is an insult to Our Lord. It is blaspheming and a sin in Christianity. This kind of statement is used to cover up the actual sin of using The Lords Name in vain. It is to use His Name without really using His actual Name. In other words the person who says this kind of statement is actually lying to themselves about the whole sin issue and is guilty of the sin regardless. Thanks be to God that He forgives us all of our sins by virtue of His Son, Jesus Christ, Our Lord's sacrifice on Calvary/Golgotha! Should you sin in this manner, just believe in Jesus Christ and ask for His forgivness for your ignorant behavior, Amen.

I generally say the 'H' stands for Hesoos
(sound it out-- you know, 'Jesus' but in Spanish).
I find it funny on many drunken levels.
Feliz Navidad!

My Uncle Harold always told me it was "Harold". But, we're Jewish, so we're not exactly Jesus-savy.
