The IT companies look for formal education like B.E, B.Tech, MCA for hiring IT professionals. They also hire B.Sci freashers but not B.Com. But if you have done B.Com and then you manage to do MCA as well, you can get into IT companies.

Just don't try this kind of experiments and it will never work in India because millions of engineers and science grads are jobless and available dime a dozen any time.
Better focus on accounts and pursue software as a hobby. If you are really good at it, you may start your own business. In fact, you can specialize accounts and banking software and other guys can not take away your job. Got it?.

First, please don't YELL! (ALL CAPS is equivalent to YELLING!) Second, it really depends on the company whether or not your skill level is high enough for their needs. One company might hire you with the understanding that they would train you, while another company might turn you down. If you're looking for a job, I wish you the very best "luck". Now, go out there, with resume in hand, and knock on every door you can find (i.e. go to the HR division of every single company you can find - LOL).

Don't go by what articles say. What you need to do is you need to get an internship at some companies, so you can put stuff on your resume. Also, make sure you tell people that you have done this and that project that's related to the job. You need to know that it's not always what you know but *who you know* is important too - from my experience.
