I love System of a Down: two vocalists with different sounding voices, a great guitarist, great drummer, great "open to interpretation" lyrics, socially/politically conscious lyrics, no tattoos or piercings; whats not to love..

i love em. they are talented, not image-obsessed, just plain rock. their political, but not preachy. they have developed their own sound, yet progressed/matured with each album. big thumbs up

system of a down is an incredible band. they are one of my fav...one of my top 5..lol
you're right about how they a great guitarist and drummer..etc.
but i think the reason why some ppl do not like system of a down is because of the serj's voice. i guess its not good or really "weird" for them to listen to.
however, thats just my opinion of why some ppl do not like system of a down.

System is one of my favorite bands out there and one I am dying to see in concert someday. The lyrics are awesome!

Well *I* like em. Very original "alt metal". I'd say they're probably one of the most original bands out now.
Their music sounds kinda like a bar mitzvah gone arwy.
