AIM keeps on sending an offline message to my friends sn. How can i take that off?

I IM'ed my friend once and he appeared offline. When he logged back in, he got the message. But now, everytime he logs in, that message comes up! and its annoying. I cancelled all my offline options from my end. Does he have to do anything in specific?

You might try removing your friend, and then re-adding them. And they could try removing you and re-adding you. Try to do it when you are both on, it might take better that way.
