Prior to joining ROBTV, Kim launched her journalism career at CBC Newsworld. Her in-depth knowledge of business evolved from working in strategy and finance at two Fortune 500 companies, in Canada and abroad. Following that she taught marketing at Dalhousie University, and helped start a technology venture capital company in Toronto. Kim earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph and an International MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Kim also studied at IESA, one of South America's top business schools in Caracas, Venezuela.

Kim Parlee is an anchor and host at Report on Business Television and co-anchors Stars and Dogs, After Hours and Talking Tax. Since starting with the channel in 2001, she has worked in a number of capacities including anchor, markets editor and technology reporter. Prior to ROBTv, Parlee worked with CBC Newsworld, worked in strategy and finance with a number of blue chip companies in Canada and abroad, and taught marketing at Dalhousie University.
