i have just started my own internet business and i have no idea how to set up a payment account... i mean allow people to buy my products and pay for them on my website using their credit cards etc.....
ALSO how would i know when someone has placed an order???
please help..... thank you :)

It is much easier to use the services of an existing company to handle payments for you. Check with Amazon.com and Paypal.com. I am pretty sure they offer these services.

Umm.........your website should have a tool that allows you to see if someone has made an order. Also, you should set up paypal for them to pay.........

you could use pay pal. i know alot of people on here that buy things and have their account set up through pay pal. that's how i would go i have used it for years with no problem.
