Here’s the deal.

I have one Ipod Nano, 1 GB

It has never shown up in my Itunes (so I have never been able to put songs on it from my own computer), tho it does show up in My Computer. All the options about Ipods in Itunes are so that you cannot click on them.

When plugged in, it says it’s charging. You can’t go to any other screen.

I’ve tried everything it seems to fix it. And recently, a screen has been popping up saying iPodService Module has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I probably don’t have the newest software on my Ipod because, since it doesn’t connect to Itunes, the downloads do not work.

Now I have bought the Nike+ Sports Kit, and when plugged in to the Ipod, my ipod reads : The accessory attached is not supported by this Ipod. (or something like that)

My Ipod is shown in Itunes on other people’s computers. Do I just have a crappy computer and/or Ipod? Please help.

The exact same thing happened to me with my video ipod when i got the new itunes 7.0. what happened with me is that the itunes that i downloaded was corrputed. try uninstalling your itunes, then defagment your comptuer, then redownload and install the itunes and defrag your computer again.
