I don't forget, and it's really hard to forgive. Just this morning I forgave my mother after eight years for something that impacted my entire adult life...I know we're not supposed to hold a grudge, but it's human nature to do so. I think it's important to remember and not forget because if we forget, we won't learn anything. With my mother, I was finally able to forgive her because I now know exactly what she was going through at the time, and now I choose to, with that knowledge, not follow in her footsteps, no matter how hard it may be for me.

I think it is all a matter of who your mad at, but when you do get mad at someone, I think everyone holds a grudge for a little while but then a lot of people forgive and forget. But others forgive but dont forget. I think it is ok to hold a grudge but you cant hold it forever. Always forgive. Its ok to forget but it may be hard to. So yeah I forgive and forget, usually!

For the most part I forgive and forget. I try not to hold grudges but sometimes it's hard to forget things people do.

I can hold a grudge for a while at times I forget what I was mad at and still be mad. I also can forgive someone that I love very quickly. As far as forgetting Im not that great at that but I can forgive eventually.

Hmmmmm...I usually forgive but I don't know about the forgeting part. But I guess that it does depend on the situation. It is very hard not to hold a grudge but I am very much working on that. And I am doing pretty well so far.
Wishing you a merry Christmas,
Tina

I rarely forgive and NEVER forget. I don't think that means I hold a grudge, but once someone's done me wrong, I won't give them a chance to do it again.

I forgive. I don't forget (usually). I don't hold a grudge either. I just keep it in the back of my mind to protect myself from that happening to me again.
