Yes... the rules of the NFL are pretty clear on leading with the crown of your helmet. I hate some of the rules regarding protecting the QB, they are after all football players but spearing anyone with your helmet is cheap, dirty and illegal. Best guess...$25,000.00 fine will be handed out over the hit. Play the game hard, smoke the QB when the opportunity presents itself but respect the rules of the game and the safety of other players and themselves (look at how many guys hurt their own neck with helmet hits). Bet he gets pissed when an O-lineman hits him around the knees!

The hit he took was perfectly legal, the defender had all his momentum going at Brady before he even started his slide. If he didnt want to get hit he should have started his slide earlier or stopped being a ***** and actually let himself get tackled. A regular tackle would have hurt less than that...QBs these days...babies...

Big time!! that was MAJOR!! I was almost going to medicate myself with some alcohol! Brady though showed some True leader ability by shaking it off and getting back in the game!!HE IS A TRUE WINNER! The hit must of been clean because there wasnt a flag thrown?! MaN did it hurt!

im personally ready for the Defensive players to start leveling the QBs...i mean hell if you touch a QB now your Flagged and Fined...im Ready for them to start getting there Moneys worth and start cleaning some cobb webs out these QBs heads......Football is a contact sport...if you dont wanna be hit...play baseball..
