I just got the game Catch Phrase for Christmas and noticed that it was rated adult but i didnt know that and im just a teen, can anyone tell me why it is rated adult? Like does it have adult questions, swearing, or something??? Please help!!

I have played this game before with some younger kids (about 10 years old) and there was no bad stuff then, but im just still wondering why its age is adult??

They only rated it adult because they think some of the vocabulary is kind of old for today's teenagers...there's stuff from tv shows that were on when parents (today) were kids, so that's the only reason. There are some difficult words, but my friends and I are in middle school and we play it just fine.

The game has adult rating because it has alcohol and themes that are more for adults nothing too graphic or inappropriate but mainly things that more adults then kids would know

I've never heard of it, but if the name means anything, it might imply the existence of adult-themed questions, answers, etc. It's possible there are implications of the use of, say, Playboy icons, phrases, or something like that. "What happens in the Grotto stays in the Grotto."
