i had my internet connection just installed in my laptop.now my cousin bought one for herself,she can detect my internet connection but when she opens internet explorer "cannot connect to server"is her status... plss help solving our problem..

Its simple. I have the same problem. Just check where the "connected" signal comes or not. If it shows "connect" then Click on the refresh button. If not , connect it.

If your wireless system is encrypted, with WEP or WPA , then she will not be able to connect , even if she sees it, as long as she does not have the encryption key.
If she enters the key into her laptop, she will be allowed in.
You may also want to check the internet options settigns on the laptop, just to be sure everything is properly set up.

You need to set your main computer to allow her computer to connect, because your router is probably set to be invisable so your neighbors can't use your internet. Also make sure that her laptop excepts cookies.
