Maybe that's who was speaking to Bush, instead of God.
I seriously doubt Bush/Cheney are Christian. That was a clever game plan, suggested by Karl Rove, to get the people to vote for them in the second term.

Isn't it amazing how Bush proclaims to be such a Christian, and yet brushes off the murder of 665, 000 Iraqis and 3,000 U.S. soldiers as "collateral damage of war"?
Of the five greatest terrorists in the past 75 years, only one has ever faced a court of law:
Joseph Stalin killed 10 million of his countrymen and died peacefully in his sleep;
Adolph Hitler killed 6,000,000 Jews and chose suicide as his cowardly way out;
Idi Amin killed 2,000,000 people in Uganda and retired in lavish, luxurious exile;
George W. Bush has killed 665,000 Iraqis and 3,000 American soldiers (so far) without ever being tried for high crimes against humanity in an international tribunal;
Saddam Hussein was sentenced to death for killing 148 people in a small Iraqi village. He's the only one of these five cretins to face justice. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and all 535 members of the most arrogant, cowardly, incompetent, contemptible, corrupt Congress in U.S. history deserve to be tried in a court of law for their crimes, and - if convicted - must hang right alongside Hussein.
I find it absolutely incredulous that Bush has the gall to wish everyone "Peace on Earth" while he creates an atmosphere of fear, evil, bigotry and hatred around the world. -RKO-
