omg .. dish satellite is better than netzero but still a far cry from dsl ...and more expensive ... it will drop if the weather is really nasty but its still better than dialup and u can use a wireless router with it.

Your best option if you want high speed and live too far out for cable is dish. These things can be rather costly. Unless things have changed you have to buy your dish and then pay the monthly fee, plus you have to pay for installation. Check them out on the web, i'm not sure, but i do know it would be better than netzero. Can you get DSL? thats a good alternative if you cannot get cable

Dish meaning satellite internet?
Satellite internet can only provide speeds like ISDN as far as I know, which would be like having 2 56k modems instead of 1.
NetZero doesn't have a high-speed internet as far as I know.
Sorry but I don't think you can get high-speed if you live in the boondocks. Had a friend that was in the same position and there was no solution except moving.

DONT USE NETZERO!!!!!!! NetZero is a Dial up connection!!! Do not use any dial up connection companies! They are slow, and you will have connection problems! Use verizon DSL, they are $14.95 a month and they are a broadband connection so it will be fast and you wont have connection problems! I don't recommend that you use Cable because they are soo outragisly expensive.

Whatever you do, do not get Hughesnet! Hughesnet does not have good customer service, nor does it have highspeed. I am going to switch to Dishnetwork when it come available to me at the first of the year. I can not get Comcast or Bellsouth as they decide on who gets cable or dsl in my area.
