Either is ok.Usually in the USA we say 'Merry Christmas',and in the UK they say 'Happy Christmas'.

in Britain they say Happy Christmas but most people in the United States say Merry Christmas so either way is grammatically correct

Depends do you live in the USA? Then say Merry. Do you live in the UK? Then say Happy. They are pretty much the same meaning but I think merry sounds better unless you have a British accent!
