I downloaded 888.com poker site on to my pc, and my cookie box no longer exists. Does this mean the cookies are no longer being collected, or are they being stored up somewhere else? If so, where i wonder.

Help please

Im using BT yahoo, and downloaded it from there. I have 2 friends who also lost cookie boxes in same way, when downloading. No other problems seem to be there.

which browser are you using? internet explorer? your browser could be hijacked...are you sure it disappeared?

sorry but i'd rather use Firefox.....run your security programs and see what you find. If you do'nt know what they are, then you need to find out.

The cookies aren't stored in your Browser to begin with. They are stored in a Cookie Folder that is hidden and falls under either Owner or Administrator if you are using XP. If you want to find them just do a search for cookies.*

Press Start/Search /All files and Folders and type in cookies. When the files come up you can decide whether you want to keep or delete one or more files..
