I have tried moisturizing brands but even they dry out my skin and fade during the day.

You should try Bare Minerals - it feels like not wearing any makeup at all - the stuff is just awesome!!

I've used Max Factor Whipped Creme foundation for years. Its water based, but has a moisturizing affect. My skin is dry, and this foundation is the only one I've found that doesnt dry it out. And the foundation doesn't fade at all.

It appears that your skin is on the oily or combination side. That said, you can either try mineral foundations, like Everyday Minerals, Intensive formula, or liquid foundations, like Revlon Colorstay for Combination to Oily skin. Everyday Minerals stays on for a long time, but you may see some oiliness after 5 hours. Revlon on the other hand stays on forever.

buy a really good foundation, moisturizer applyed befor you put your makeup on really works. give the moisturizer about 5 mins to set befor you apply foundation

Use true color natural match it stays on your skin... I 've tried so many and they all came off but true color seems to work best for me
