The most common reason people get MBAs today is because it is a really good way to make a career change with 5-10 years of experience after undergraduate degrees. It's almost a 'given' that these thousands of 25-35 year olds are going to switch professions after their 2 years of classes.
even if not getting a degree, thousands of 30-something people go on to new professions every year. GO FOR IT!

So, while you're in good shape at 34, then decide for it. you're nonetheless a youthful guy. in case you sense previous, then you certainly ought to attempt something else, yet once you're energetic and paintings out on a widespread foundation, there is easily no reason to hesitate beginning this new occupation. have relaxing and robust good fortune to you!

I returned to school at the age of 42 and went from a classroom teacher to an aircraft mechanic. I received my aircraft mechanics certification and worked in general aviation for many years. I was tied with second place in overall GPA for the aircraft school because of the knowledge I had gained over the years. I even went back into the classroom and taught aircraft mechanics for several years.

No, 34 is most definitely not too old to start a new career. Have confidence in yourself. Often it's easier for someone who is slightly older to reach the goal, everything is clearer and you know what you want.
Good luck to you!

No, you are never too old!
My uncle got his GED when he was 40, and went on to get not only a college degree, but also a masters, and is now working as a social worker.
Do what you want to do and don't worry about your age! You are only as old as you feel!
