I don't know like where to go on my windows media player to do that. Please someone help me !

If the music and clips you have are stream media (that means have to be played online and have their source on the Internet rather than your hard disk) then you can save them where ever you want. The file you've saved is actually a shortcut, make sure u'r connected and play it!
But if you have downloaded online music or video, then it should be somewhere on your hard disk. Try the default paths for media downloads (My Documents>My Music/ My Video). If you couldn't find them in these places, don't worry! Try saving something of the same kind (another video clip) and see where are you saving your file when you browse for it before saving. Windows usually keeps the last location as the default folder of saving.
However if you want to have streaming (online) media on your hard disk, then you should try softwares that record computers audio / scree&audio.

Make a new folder on your desk top, give it a name, then when you find the tune or video that you want, right click and save to that file.

make a folder , apply whatever there and when you click on it it should play thru media player
