I opened my gift and it was divorce papers to sign and she opened her gift from me and it was divorce papers to sign. We both laughed so hard because we were thinking the same thing it was only suppose to be a joke, but what are the odds that we both would of pulled the same trick is just simply a miracle itself. We are still laughing at it as I speak.

Many a truth is spoke in jest (famous truth) - either the two of you have a mutually humorous - and very strange humor that would be - relationship, or you have serious problems!
The TWO of you better figure THAT one out! - - Such "jokes" are a sign - if not a prelude - to serious trouble in your relationship.
It is time you sat down and had a long heart to heart chat about your relationship. People who truly love each other don't pull hurtful pranks - and a prank like that can really hurt - and hurt DEEPLY.
Was your marriage based on love or lust? If love, isn't it worth saving? Are there children involved? If so, can you learn to love each other (again)?
How to know if you really love each other? TRUE love would be where you are genuinely concerned for the welfare and happiness of the other person (such a joke would say 'not') - whether or NOT they care for you. Any other kind of love is selfish love - YOU 'want' something - even if it is just companionship - then is that really love?
Some examples of 'true' love: I loved my mom and dad (sadly, both gone years ago), I loved my brothers and sister (only one brother left, -sigh-), I love my children and grandchildren, I even love my x-wife. I care what happens to her, how she is getting along, if she is in good health, if she is happy (she dumped me. Over money - her daddy was rich and she expected me to become rich. I never did, nor wanted to.) I'm looking for a new "partner" but I care about the welfare of my "X" - those are, my friend, examples of true love. Anything else is something ELSE. There is nothing wrong with WANTING to be loved, and if you can love and BE loved at the same time, that is icing on the cake!
Take CARE! Such a joke may not BE a joke - it may be an indication of something seriously wrong. Don't blow it! Talk it out, resolve your differences - or decide to accept them - agree to dis-agree if need be - but don't sacrifice a relationship because laughter hides deep feelings of hurt or discontent.
My marriage might have been saved, "if only" we had been able to talk about our problems. I'd give anything - EVERYTHING - if I could go back and "make it right" somehow. I'm afraid it is way to late. Don't let that happen to the two of you.

You all are weird and with this kind of twisted sense of humor, you'll be the next divorce statistic one of these days. Hope you don't have children.

i wager your question is wondering each little thing you positioned is okay. confident that is fantastic. what's going to be extra disappointing than actual not seeing your dad. in the experience that they were given a group of stuff already than you need to inform your little ones that's not about presents on Christmas in the experience that they get upset. interior the right they're going to initiate to have expectancies of large issues and such. at the same time in case you want to furnish them their small presents, theres not some thing incorrect with that in any respect. to make this short, in the experience that they already received alot of large issues from thier dad i does not imagine they should be awaiting any extra, in the experience that they get upset than that is a actual trivial element and also you need to communicate about that to them.
