Yes I survived advanced cancer and have a new love in my life, a great family and friends. I have so many blessings and so much to be thankful for.

Absolutely everyday.
When you watch the news or see a person worse off than you , you can not help but count your blessings, at least I can't.
We are all BLESSED in so many ways and some people can't see the blessings for all the griping and complaining.
i.e. FLAT TIRE----at least you have a car.
i.e. BROKEN FURNACE-----at least you have a home
i.e. "NOT PERFECT RELATIVES"----at least you have someone
Yes I am an optimistic person. Reality is there are a lot of people who are a lot worse off than I am, and I thank GOD for all the blessings he bestows on me and my loved ones.

Sometimes I forget but songs like this serve as a little reminder:
When I'm worried and I can't sleep
I count my blessings instead of sheep
And I fall asleep counting my blessings
When my bankroll is getting small
I think of when I had none at all
