I was sued before I turned 21. The judge threw the case out and gave the guy h-ll for taking my friend and I to court and wasting the courts time.

A minor would not be sued directly. Their parents would be sued on behalf of the minor.
If the parents or minor do not have the money to pay the amount awarded, a judgement would be entered against the parents. Until that judgement is paid off, the parents would find it difficult to rent a home, get a credit card, buy a house or car, etc.

If they are underaged, the legal quardian whether that is the parents, grandparents, or whoever is responsible for that person has to pay it I believe. Of course, then they will want at least some of it repaid to them (but that is a family matter)
Most people have assets of some kind - a house, car, business, bank accounts, retirement savings or some other source of income. They would have to dip into one of these things to get money. In a sense, they'd be getting a loan using something as collateral.
If there's absolutely none of that, they would be required to pay the amount out of future income... when they get it.

underaged? if under 18 then the legal guardians are responsible, if 18+ u can have your future earnings garnished which means up to 40% (depending on what state you live in) of your check can be taken away and put towards your judgement... sucks... you should think about buying an umbrella policy so u dont lose everything u got or lose everything u will get

Being a minor your parents have to pay, it doesn't matter if they have no money. A judgement will be in place, if it doesn't get paid the other party can then petition the court and they coudl lose their license until it gets paid. Also the other party can garnish you parents wages.

The court system will put a garnishment on the parents..take their tax returns or wages or whatever until the judgement is satisfied.

If you are a minor, they could possibly go after your parents for more money or get some sort of lein against you to garnish your paycheck until your debt is paid off. It could still suck for you...

The judgement can remain active until you are of age and have money.
