My neighbor does that as well. They have 5 or 6 (unfortunately still not sure...) big hunting dogs that leave love nuggets on my yard. Unfortunately they are red-neck enough to not come and clean them up, so I do it for them. I take my rake and lob it over into their yard. Once I "accidentally" overshot my target and got one stuck to their garage. I've hit their car, the garage, the sidewalk.... you'd think that they'd get it eventually. It's not everyday that a dog craps on the side of a car.....
But as far as legally, I am sure that the city code has something about that stated in it. I know my town has a 2 dog limit that I am planning on talking to the council about enforcing. Good luck. I know how frustrating it can be!!

This is usually a city ordinance violation. You can call the non-emergency number of your PD and make a complaint. If your hometown has a city ordinance banning dog owners from allowing their animals to defecate on your property they can issue them a notice to appear for violation of the ordinance.
The fine is typically 100-150$. A dog urinating on your property, while leashed and going for a walk, nothing you can do about that.

I have a neighbour who does the same thing. I have tried reasoning by asking her to carry a plastic bag, called animal control (they have not caught her in the act). I have resorted to being mean and awful. I wil take her dogs poop, and put it on the underneath of her car door handle...that's a lovely feeling when in a hurry to get to work. I have smeared it on her front door and left trails from her house to her car. Sometimes I may have to save of a weeks worth in a pail and I gag all the way but damn I feel better after.

If the dog is on your property and you witness it purchase you a bb gun and burn his behind off of him. I had the same problem I live across the street from a trailer park I bet at any given time 2-3 dogs were releasing themselves on my property. (I have children). I warned the pet owners that if I see their dogs on my property for any reason I would engage in abrupt action and shoot their dog with my air pistol. Well many took my threats as jokes now you can't make their pets cross the street. Now my children are able to go out and play and I don't have to worry about any of them stepping in or falling on dog crap.

Well I dont know about legally, but I've had this problem before. I always entertained the idea of coming home from a bar trashed out of my mind and taking a dump on their porch before I went inside my house and passed out.

Put it in a bag and leave it on his doorstep. Best you go talk to him first, then get mean. This is why I love rural living. If a dog come on my property, I cap him and throw the body into a ditch on the road.

Write him a letter threatening legal action then video tape the act, make a copy of the tape for the cops, then prosecute him for criminal trespass, he was warned... Keep it in WRITING, mailed, certified return receipt.

Tape him, and report him to the police. Tell the police when your neighbor usually walks his dog, and then they will take care of it.

put it all in a paper bag put it on his doorstep and light the bag on fire, then ring the doorbell and run to your house... do this over and over until he gets the picture ... urination isnt a big deal, but pooping on your lawn is messed up, if i was you i'd have my dog kick their dog's @$$ the next time i saw it...
