He is 26 and my friend is 15. She talks to him on the internet and even claims she talks to his mom via emails. She also says he's nice, and he's 3 hours away from her. She says she does not want to have sex but I am scared with drugs, and influence she could be pressured into having sex. I don't want anything to happen to her. I care about her safety and care about her.

What should I do?

Call the police department, tell her parents, tell her what I suspect, what?

Dear Sammy Dawn,
You should call the police immediately. There have been cases where girls have met people on the web and were found raped or dead. Also, the man is breaking the law by dating a minor and the guy could be lying about his age and could be much older. After you call the cops, tell her parents. Your friend may be angry with you, but it's better having her scream in your face than have her lying in a casket.

Many young people can take care of themselves. I was 17, my ex was 14 and Ive had other friends tell me they lived on there own when they were 14,15,16. Just because your friend is 15 doesn't mean shes a victim or cant handle a situation. Many other countries you are an adult at 15,16.

the police or government doesn't help.

why don't you mind your own business, but if you insist, maybe her parents should know.

by the way, how old are you?

Wow ...not many of you out there, bless your heart you are what this world needs more of sweety, yes go talk with her mother and father, theres alot of freaky people out there. And what do you hear all the time on TV.. tell your friend that you are telling her parents be honest about telling. She might get mad at you ,but you just remember in the back of your mind you just possibly saved your friends life.if he's "26" then whats wrong with him that hes chatting with minors on the net? its not right tell her parents. MerryChristmas!

Show your friend any of the available episodes of "To Catch a Predator" on Dateline NBC (occasionally being showed on MSBNC)

She will see that this 26 years old chasing 15 year old booty is a cross between FANTASY, FOLLY, and FELONY!

do what ever u can dont u ever give up first tell her and advice her to take care remind her that she is younger than him and he is just fooling around but before that try to talk to that boy or try to meet him and know him closely without telling him that u know her and tell him that you're talk to girl whose younger than u and say the same story that his doing and try to know how he feels about it and if he loves her then there's nothing to worry about but if u find that he doesnt love her and he's just fooling around then u have to warn her but if she didnt take care u have no choice except telling her parents do u best and try to help her good luck with that
