Liberals are PC people...conservatives get upset about PC...I don't think either party is right about this...
I am a middle of the road, and I call Mexicans: Mexicans.
Now, why is it bad to call African Americans: Black, but it is okay to call Caucasian-Americans: White?

I've never heard a liberal use the word brown. I don't know how Mexicans will feel about if it was true.

Liberals see the world in colors because they need victims. That's how they get voting blocks to keep them in power. If they just said people from other countries it wouldn't narrow it down enough to go after that group. Liberals feel sorry for (Brown People) because down deep white liberals think they are better than the (Brown People) and the better people need to take in the not quite so good people like puppies that need a home. It's quite condescending.

My daughter in law is Mexican and I've never heard or used that term nor have I heard her say anything about it.

"Brown People", can be Hispanics, Blacks, etc etc... That is quite insulting to Hispanics. because some Hispanics are Pale, Blond-hair and blue eyed. Liberals are the ones that generalize everyone.

It's got something to do with the self-labeling..."people of color" African-Americans chose to be called black, so that left brown for the other color.....
