Yeah, I think the new song and video is pretty cleaver. I also like "Carpal Tunnel of Love". It is a different sound, but the core is still the same. It should be a great album when it comes out.
Now, to address something I see all to often in here. Why do people find the need to state something sucks or whatever when they are not into it? There is a lot of music I don't care for, but you don't see me going around flaming everyone over their preferences. Different music speaks to people in different ways. Something you may write off as lame or stupid may save someone else's life sometime! Keep your negativity to yourselves!
