We are wondering what a long red dress says about a girl? Especially on Christmas

Red symbolises power, danger and excitement. It also symbolises impurity (ie the opposite of a white dress on a wedding day, which is meant to mean the bride is a virgin). However, the possible sluttiness (no offence meant, just couldn't think of a better word) of the colour is nicely contradicted by the fact that it's a long dress, not revealing too much. Overall the statement is that she is not too shy to be noticed and is confident, but not an attention junkie. The fact that it's Christmas just shows she knows the right occasion to wear a red dress.

Often the reason for red to be worn at christmas, is because it is a very festive colour. Red is also very much in fashion, so it would tell me that she is in 'trend' with the fashion world and also in the 'festive' mood.

That she has the Christmas spirit. And that she cared enough to dress nicley for those who she obviously cares about. The question is to me what are you wearing? Tell her how nicce she looks and quit being a snob. Step down from your pedastal its Christmas.

Give her a break. She is trying to look festive.
At the club I go to nearly every week, a couple of the guys, two cousins, showed up in red, red suit, down to red shoes................It added a delightful seasonal touch.

You would be mistaken to think that she's gonna give it to you buddy. You need to work for it.
