First of all I had this college accounting instructor that was ogling me sexually and obviously right before finals and I decided to take the final test in the library.

The Dream:

I was in an advanced accounting class with another accounting instructor. I was in the classroom working on my assignments(a few people were there), and so he came in and decided to help me, I accepted and then he started to lay his hand on my very upper thigh(that connects to your pelvis or something)

I hit him and said that's it I'm reporting you, even though I respect you but I'm reporting you. He said don't report me I'm just having trouble with my marriage. I decided to listen to him and he was saying that the physical part fell apart. I told him to go to a marriage counselor or a doctor.

Meaning?

It means that you realize there is more to every situation than what you see on the surface. You should look at every situation differently and base your response on true introspection. While initially, this instructor was making you uncomfortable, you soon realized that he was actually having marital problems and having trouble expressing his desire for "normal" sexuality.

And that is true of every situation you experience. Dont jump to a response, twist the situation and think about it from another perspective.

Obviously, you wanted to confront your feelings about this professor. By changing the place you took the finals, you proactively dealt with the situation.

That is why, in the dream, although the professor 'touched' you (touched in terms of getting underneath your skin psychologically) you 'hit' back (refused to let the professor dictate your life to you). Doing so eventually revealed to you that, ultimately, the professor is 'harmless'. With no physical part/threat, his actions are ultimately empty.

Another way of looking at this, though, is that the professor represents how you feel in the situation. Instead of doing something, you plead 'excuses' to your other self as to why you shouldn't make a fuss about what's happening. Consequently, you can feel 'powerless' or 'damaged' (a desire to act but no instrument to carry it out) and thus, in the dream, you gave yourself advice to ask a doctor (or some other professional) about the situation. A doctor represents someone who has knowledge and can 'heal' a situation. If this explanation seems reasonable, try talking to the department head (unless he is it) and explain what you feel and why, but be precise. Even if he was sexually harrassing you (and pleads otherwise) the report could be enough to make him more cautious and reserved around you, thus solving the situation. Also, if he acts up again, the second report will act as a supporter of the first report. And the more reports filed, the less the school can ignore the problem.

The literal layer of this dream seems obvious -- about your concerns about being approached inappropriately by an instructor and asserting yourself.

However, all dreams are ALSO in metaphor, and represent issues that are happening your current life, offering you an insight or solution to a problem. Recurrent dreams reflect an unresolved (unfinished) issue in your life. Notice when you have the dream and see what happened that day BEFORE you had the dream. Your emotional state and your interactions of the day are the keys to meaning(s).

Your chosen symbols have meaning to YOU, not something you can look up in a dream dictionary.

It sounds as if your actual experience with the instructor was some time ago. If you have a dream that refers to something in the past, it still relates to something in the present. I'm guessing that you have a boundary issue with another person in your life now, not necessarily a teacher. It could be a parent, friend, or employer, or lover -- likely someone who reminds you of your teacher or who acts as if he's your teacher and you are his student.

Remember: you are the final authority on the meaning(s) of your dreams.

I don't mean to sound rude but you heard yourself,my friend. It's a dream. A dream is a dream.... It probably means nothing because our human mind can dream the impossibles. I'm sorry once again
