there is no difference. except in prices.And an mp3 player is smaller.

the difference between an ipod and an mp3 player is the mp3 is like a radio but u put the song that u want but ipod u can get a screen and put your pictures in it.

Look,i have an Ipod and an Mp3 player,ipod can be better so can mp3 player but i think that your sister will enjoy the mp3 player how old is she?
im 10 and my whole family has an ipod or mp3 so yeah i think ipod is better!

they do the same thing and serve the same purpose . . its just im guessing that your sisters upset . . because ipod is like the cool designer version . . and she would probably be embarassed of an mp3 player. . . its like having a coach purse . . and a knockoff with G's instead of C's on it . .

ipod uses apple programing (itunes). mp3 is another music format that is more easily used with windows and other media players.
