I like all good Englishmen today, watched THE christmas speech by the Queen. I am furious with channel 4 for this "alternative" christmas speech. I maybe called racist for this but the idea of a veiled muslim woman broadcasting a message at the same time as our Queen disgusts me. The Queens message is a tradition and anyone who watched this alternative message and is truly English should be ashamed of themselves and i for one will never watch channel 4 again for this. If anyone did watch it what was it like? I asume it was not to do with all faiths like the queens but i may be wrong. Your opinions....

Channel 4 are just trying to stir it up.20 years ago it was probably a homosexual person they had on.They want to seem cool and trendy while in reality they're dull and predictable.

I am in Australia andI get to watch the Queen's message too. While I appreciate how much her message means to you, I think you have to be openminded that it may not appeal to everyone,and that a section of the community might benefit more from a more localised role model.
