The dolls are sort of pudgy faced and have these small noses and beady little eyes. Sometimes you can put blush on their cheeks to give them a rosy color. I found a craft book on it once, but I can't find it again and the web provides nothing on these dolls. HELP!

You can use the same teqnigue as for the soft sculpture dolls. just use nylon stockings instead of the other fabric. Besides Ebay try the Albitris site. Do a search over in the left side of the page under hobbies. If you can't find this book on Albitris go to Ebay under the Half.com section. This is their book section. You also have Amazon and Yahoo auctions. Now you have a lot of sites so you should find it on one of them. I used to make pig heads out of stockings and they were real looking and sold well. Crafts magazine used to have instructions on how to do this. You might try looking for old issues from the 70's.I

You might try a search for "soft sculpture dolls" I believe that is what they are called. I know they were very popular several years ago. And maybe Ebay would have books on the subbject.
I think the directions for making them are way too complicated to give here.
