Believe it or not, I prefer "G" shows, and only a few "GP" rated shows - even today at 48 for myself. For several yrs, I had only cable, and stuck with specific programs. I was unaware that subtle changes were occurring with the local networks (as far as morality & violence). I didn't go to modern movies (just AMC or TCM), so my genre of movies covered from silent pics to 1969 (preferred). I kinda put myself into a 'bubble' by choice. Then, I happened to be visiting my sister & her hubby, who have only what an antennae will pick up-local channels. I was horrified at what I was seeing. I almost went into shock at the denegration of what was being presented morally. My sister & her hubby were just sitting there, desensatized over the years and had grown to not notice such agenda's over the screen. That was when I could see the incredible change in programming that I was not privvy to for many yrs. So, I prefer cable or no TV at all. Of the channels you offered: Fine to Great: 1,2,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,14,18. Monitor: 3,4,5,16,17,20 Strongly monitor: 15,19 Unknown (never watched): 13 In any case, always monitor what your kids are subjected to - from the programming to the COMMERCIALS (oh yes, them too!). My brother who home schooled, always had the TV put to MUTE during commercials. That is an option. Good luck on protecting your kids these days. The media agendas are multiple now, and won't back down - especially if we remain silent and just 'look the other way a/k/a change channels' which they LOVE, because then their ideas can continue on and on w/o legal wars or censorship by the watching/consumer public. 050207 12:45

Watching those movies when you are young and inexperienced can give you some very distorted ideas about your body and about sex. Sex just for the sake of the physical sensation may leave you feeling empty and unsatisfied. Sex is best when your partner is someone you love and who loves you: then it enters a whole new realm of feellings that you can't even imagine!
