she is a media whore. She needs to shut her mouth her son re-upped on his own. Why didn't she stop him? where was her love and feelings then? She thinks she is the only woman in history to lose a son. I would like to see her bank account since her son died. I know she is profiting. At the end of saving private ryan matt damon said " I want to stay here these are my brothers now" Im sure her son felt the same way about those that he served with. Which is probably why he re-upped. That C U N T is dragging the honor of her own son in the trash. And she is not an American
And to the twit that thinks terrorist cannot kill us in numbers like we lost in Iraq. 3000 died on 9/11. That was on one day in a matter of 1 hour. Get with big bird and learn some simple math

I don't know what your are referring to since no link was provided; however, I don't take her actions nor her words as sympathizing with terrorists. She, like many other Americans --present company included -- don't believe in this war in Iraq. That doesn't mean we don't support the troops, we do. We realize that they are their on orders and while in the military you don't speak against the Commander in Chief. However, as we saw some Generals Retire that had been in Iraq speak against the war as well as Rumsfeld and said that he should retire. These same Generals served under Rumsfeld and Bush in the Iraq war. These Generals spoke out during Congressional testimonies as well as on various Sunday morning TV News programs.
Cindy Sheehan is calling for what all Americans should be calling for -- bringing out troops home. Unfortunately, the inept George W. Bush, Jr. has gotten us into a situation without an exit plan --just as what happened with Vietnam. You can ask my cousins today why they were sent to Vietnam and they couldn't give you and answer.
Right now Bush is trying to figure out how to save face. We don't hear them talking about Osama -- where his *** at? Are they still looking for him? We have all the radar and high tech satellites in the world; but we can't find that bastard. Now should Bush find him -- you can say he did something. As for right now, going into Iraq was a BIG mistake that we as Americans will ALWAYS be paying for. As Whoopi Goldberg said, Bush didn't know his geography and sent the troops in the wrong direction.
Now our soldiers are caught in between two cultures who don't see themselves as Iraqi people but as two separate religious and political entities. I say clear our people out and the last group standing has control.
There are some Freedom Fighters that aren't terrorists and they fight in various ways with a specific goal. These people who go about blowing up themselves and other innocent people are in no way Freedom Fighters. Real Freedom Fighters don't seek to deliberately harm the innocent, they go after the establishment and try to change things that are inequitable. There isn't anything wrong with attempting to make all things equal.

Part of the problem is that we invaded a secular government - Iraq. And avoided the real problem countries such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Iran. Afghanistan was a good move but we unfortunately quit (a mere 20,000 troops, up from an initial 10,000). So now we are stuck in a no win situation while terrorists are being recruited at larger numbers than ever before.

We should never have a war without critics, for our government is filled with fallible humans. (whether they speak to God or not). "Kill all infidels" is the clarion call of our fear, and is followed by the logical response "We must kill all Muslims to protect ourselves". Both are fanatical views serving the smallest elite of lunatics.
Such fear mongering leads to the wonderful results we have Iraq and Israel. We actually can't kill all of our "enemies", but we don't have to; we do have to conduct enough dialog to disarm them. Cindy Sheehan, through her suffering, understands this better then all brianiac neo-cons in the White House.

First, let me say that I am a Persian Gulf veteran in favor of showing no mercy to terrorists. But, you have to remember that Cindy Sheehan is reacting out of grief at losing her son, and needs someone or something to blame (in this case, George Bush, et al.). I woudn't take what she says too seriously.

Cindy Sheehan is more of a patriot than conservatives are willing to acknowledge. She is a voice that needs to be heard among all the saber-rattling of administration officials who think nothing of sending our best and brightest off to die in a war based on lies.

The "kill" part. Terrorists aren't capable of killing us in numbers greater than we've lost in Iraq and Afghanistan. We need to calm down, get smart, and treat terror like a crime instead of an act of war.

Not to worry, even the media has started to ignore her because they finally have realized she's a tad on the nutty side. She's not grieving over her son, she has an agenda.

Even her son didn't listen to her crap. He voluntarily reenlisted and knew he'd go back to Iraq! We should follow Casey's example and ignore her too!
