This is one of the better questions I've seen on this site.
No, Jesus was not a Capricorn even religious scholars agree on that.
They also agree on the reason they chose the date Dec.25 is tied to old religions. The Romans Sun God Saturnalia, the Persians Sun God Mithras, and the Scandinavians Winter Solstice celebration around their Sun God Baldor, all used this approximate date.
Our traditions are just a combination of other ancient cultures traditions.
What I found is no one knows for sure, they think Jesus was born sometime between 4BC and 6BC (calendar errors) in the months of April or May.
In my humble opinion, I'm guessing May 9th as this would make him (earthy) fixed Taurus, until about the age of 12 when his Sun (progressed) moved to (airy) communicative Gemini, just in time to visit the temple of his father.
What do I think about it? You gotta have Faith no matter what you believe, doesn't hurt to have Hope too!

December 25th is His birthday, probably? I don't know either. Some say He isn't born on December 25 but more likely to be born on May. Maybe He is a Taurus? Taurus are free-souls, patient, can be stubborn, but the most loyal sign. He may be a Gemini because of thr communication, the intense intellect, and wiseness a Gemini possess.

There is a lot of controversy as to when exactly Jesus was born, and I'm not going to say which I believe. Some say October others say something like, Mary or April. The church was who first introduced Dec. 25 as his birthday, to match it up with a previously celebrated holiday. It's hard to say what his sign is because no one really knows when he was born. They didn't keep very good hospital records back then...jk...there weren't hospitals but you get my drift.

Allegedly he is a Taurus. Got something to do with the time he was born in Bethlehem. It's a festival of some sort which is why no lodgings could be found. Also there was that star in the east - which only shows at varying times in the millenium etc et al

Most don't think he was born then. December 25th was the birth date of Mithras that was a part of a belief practiced by the Roman conquerors that occupied that entire area. Speaking of war, history is written by the winners not the loosers.

well yea that depends on whether you believe he was born on the 25th of Dec. ive heard different sources says that he was born in october and apparently in some places they celebrate xmas in summer. so its upto you if u believe that he was born in December. i read this article which said that Jesus was born sometime in the summer but the main reason people celebrate xmas in Dec is cause to reduce the sucide rate which was coz by the depressing winter weather and as there was a pagan festival which celebrate the shortest day (the shortest day of the yr is approx a wk before xmas)of the yr it was an easy way of combining the two together.

No as others said, it was put there to "take over" a pagan ceremony date that was there.
Unknown was the actual birthday but a group of scientist using computer models went back tracking the planets to the point that it describes in the good book, and if I remember it came out to be August or September of 4BC making him more of a Virgo than anything.
