i want to know if i should use a cd-r or a cd-rw ?

I recommend Photoshop Elements. Fairly easy to use and it's got a bunch of stuff already in to do exactly what you're trying to accomplish.

A CD-R can normally can only be written once. So that means if you write in 100MB of data and even if you can append the CD, you can never replace that 100MB data with something else. The only thing you may do is to delete the data or add more data until the CD has reached its limit of around 700MB.

A CD-RW can be written and deleted 100s of times until the CD spoils.

If you want to keep the data, use a CD-R. If you just want to store it for a temporary period, use a CD-RW.

simply cd-r... bt tis should b a data disc coz is a mix of photo n music...
if u r saying u wan make a interactice cd which when photo running then music will on then u can use movie maker whick come with winXP...after making it just burn as a vcd then it can b read in pc and oso vcd player

You should try WindowsMovieMaker all windows operating systems 2000 and newer have this built in.

then check what kind of disk media your disk media drive supports writing (more commonly called burning) to then use that with the program window media player 9.0 or newer or for those that loath window media player try http://www.deepburner.com for a free or low cost alternative.

any kind of this will do as long as the amount of the filess u will be saving can support the CD...
