Singapore: Help required. Was summoned by TP for not tearing off the date from offpeak car coupon. What to do?

Was a valid coupon but I forgot to tear off the date completely. Understand hefty fine of S$20K or even imprisonment. Would I be summoned to court to defend myself? What can I do to avoid being fined?

You probably would be doing better to click on the Singapore flag at the bottom of the page and ask in the Singapore forum. I've never heard of such a thing!

20k for one coupon is just daylight robbery
is it really that bad? if you are really summoned to court, just go... cant afford to be absent for this kind of thing
