I think that cute players is not the main reason as to why girls love football.I mean,football is the beautiful game,so anyone would be attracted to football.And when I say anyone,that includes the girls as well.But well,what do you think? Do girls really love football because of the handsome players? I say no.

really I think girls probably like the game too,although there is some that is looking at the guys but you can tell the difference by asking questions about the game or games and check out the answers to see if they are knowlegable about it

obviously it depends on the girl. It's not fair to paint us all with the same broad brush. It is obvious that as females because of our natural instincts we will find players to be attractive that's just the way of life however..it's not the ONLY reason. I know that there are girls that support teams just because of 1 player which they find attractive..others and I include myself in this have loved the sport since before I thought boys were cute, I would NEVER support a team because I find a player to be attractive and I would never pick a favorite player based on looks. I would be the biggest liar to say that I don't think any player is cute...but I can with pride say that hot players have absolutely no effect on who i support or what i watch or why i watch it. So like I said it's true for some and not true for others. Some of us understand and truly love the game for what it is and not for the faces of those who play it.

Well, somehow I think ur cousin is right. Most of my friends (girls) care about football juz bcoz they adore some cute players like Christiano Ronaldo and Michael Ballack. But one of my bez fren and my cousins, they really love football bcoz of the game itself (and they are girls). And my fren is a good football player too back at school although she's a girl. So, I guess loving football isn't just for the cute guys, but it's got to do with the spirit of sports and interest too.

Psssh, the game comes first! I admit, the players add a little pizazz to the game but I am totally focused on football. It's natural for a girl to pay attention to at least one handsome man during a game, but I don't drool the whole time. Football is too beautiful of a sport. I bet your saying, "What kind of freak is she?" but I was raised with 6 brothers, so I guess you can call me a tomboy. All in all, I think what your cousin says is 25 percent true.

I agree with you. i've loved Soccer since i was 8 years-old, and i think that would be ridiculous to say that a kid loves football because of handsome players.
Of course i've seen some of my friends that like football because of cute players, but normaly this kind of girls are interested in soccer during their 14-18 years-old, and later they'll give it up.

I like football for the amazing sport that it is but of course the fact that the players are all HOT (in the italian league anyways lol) doesn't hurt *wink* but seriously i like football for the sport before the good looking players

Mrs Materazzi answered this question in your other question when she said the hot players makes football a beautiful game sometimes we are attracted to players dew to there looks sometimes not..Eto'o i admire Eto'o alot because of his skills and talents and he is one of the best strikers in the world..and he is sorry to say it Ugly...but i still love his skills...Messi is hot and best player and i love everything about him..also Cannavaro..Ruddi also....some other girls like Mrs.Materazzi just like football due to hot players..she likes Materazzi who is not even hot..and not a good player at all

Nope. Sure we may fall for every hot player we see (hey we're girls!!!), but if we only liked it for the hot guys, we would get bored soon and leave. Alot of people think i love soccer cuz of c.ronaldo- NOT. in fact, i grew up watching soccer, i didnt even know he was while watching the World Cup. And plus I first hated him, afterwords I liked him. So no. I love SOCCER for SOCCER! not 4 guys. i've been watching the WC since the time I thought boys were gross and had cooties
