I've seen Lampard more so I'll go with him. Ballack has played well when I have seen him play.

BALLACK. Though lampard is a very good player but ballack can do everything lampard can do and more.apart from being a shooter from the edge of the box and a good passer like lampard, he can also score goals with his head by making those crucial late runs in the box and can defend very well.he is more of a box to box player than lampard coz lampard hardly defends.THERE THATS THE ANSWER.

Ballack is an all round player than Lampard...
At the moment it's not happening for him but it takes a while for a new guy to blend in to the club.

According to my opinion Ballack is better than Lampard because Lampard can play only one number that he can manage properly which is number 8

For Chelsea Lampard is better by am absolute mile. Ballack has done nothing since he has been there. Hes Scheizerkopf.

Ballack. He can run with the ball (Unlike Lampard), head the ball (unlike Lampard), tackle (unlike Lampard) he can hit the same cracking wide balls and his shots are more likely to go on target. the only reasons Lampard scores so many goals is that he plays in an incredible team who make many chances and he has more shots than anyone else so some of them are bound to go in

Ballack. Good in offense, excellent in defense. What more can you ask for? Though Lampard is also good I think Ballack is a notch higher (in terms of capabilities).
