Mad is one with some mental disorder.
Fool is one who does not have any such disorder or disability... he simply does not use his brain properly.
A mad guy could often be cured.... the fool is incorrigible!!

a fool can not be mad the bible says calling a person a fool is like killing him or her .being mad is out of the control of the mad man or woman .being a fool is making bad moves when you no better

Mad is a mental disorder. Fool was an occupation, a court jester who would "fool around" to make people laugh. You can be "a fool" but not "a mad" unless you follow it with a noun (eg "a mad man, implying he has something mentally wrong with him). Calling someone a fool is a referance only to his behaviour, not his mental health.

madness is a term for insanity which sometimes can be cured or controled with medication
a fool on the other hand will rush in where the angels fear to tread, without any forethought or consideration for the consequenses they don't use the mind they have and don't care to learn

Intelligence.

A genius can be a madman. Brilliant people can be driven mad. They think too much & it can tear them apart. A fine line between genius & insanity as they say.

A fool is an idiot. They don't think. They don't know anything. They're just stupid or silly or just basically blundering & ignorant.

Of the two, the madman is more dangerous. A fool is generally harmless. Except when you elect him president...

A mad man doesnt know he cannot do something and simply does it.
A fool thinks he can do it and fails.
A madman hears voices
A fool utters them
A fool listens

Well I may be wrong but I think Mad means "crazy" and Fool means "stupid".

A Mad person would understand the consequences of a dangerous act and still do it. a fool would do the same dangerous act without understanding the consequences associated with it.-----> if he understood he woulldnt have done it

Mad means that they know what they are doing, but they still do somethin' crazy and fool means that they don't know what they are doing, but they still do something stupid.
