No he collects royalities from all of the images of him sold during Christmas time. Cards, movies, songs.

Unfortunately yes. This is the time of year he needs to build his bank account to start builing next years toys. He collects not only his own unemployment check, but 70% from each of his elves unemployment benefits (Never said he was really cool about this). They collect benefits from 49 of the 50 states (Nothing from the cheap state government in Iowa) and each of the Canadian Provinces. His elves also collect year round benefits from Ireland as per being displaced Leprachauns (Santa also collects 70% of this money). These benefits usually pay thru April or May, and then toy making begins for next Christmas.

No, he can afford to take a year off, the prices he charges for those toys ! Anyway, he still has work to do because Christmas still goes on until the first week of January in some countries. Happy Christmas

Nope! He runs a deer sausage plant somewhere in South America....Ever wondered why he has so many bucks(male deer)? Money is no issue.
