Coffee or the caffine in coffee speeds up your metabolism thereby it also speeds up your digestion. Some people handle this better than others or some people are just so used to the effect of the coffee on them that they don't even connect all those nasty bathroom trips with the beverage.

As you know, coffee is a mild diuretic, so it increases urination. And as pointed out above, caffeine is a stimulant, though it's not likely that affects your GI tract as you describe. Not enough information in your question to develop a better theory. If it's urgent, I would assume you mean diarrhea. If that's the case:
