after you beat the elite four, there is a city in kanto, celadon, it's the one where there are 5 towns in a cross pattern, and it's on the left, where you fight the grass gym, and there's a big department store. in there, you can buy the stones, as many as you want.

also, north of the city with the water gym, cerulean, (to the right of mt moon) there's a man that asks to see certain pokemon. he'll give you stones as you bring him who he wants to see
