Indeed, a seven-legged (note spelling) deer was discovered when a truck driver accidentally ran it over in Wisconsin. Inspecting the carcass, the man saw that the deer, a buck, had appendages on three of its four legs. These are the three additional legs, bringing the total to seven. The truck driver also claimed that the buck had female reproductive organs, but this could not be verified because he had gutted the animal for mounting by then.

it has to be a deformity, twins that didn't form properly
