i'm not a techie, so i'm asking those who are... i don't need anything too fancy, but not anything too cheap, either... an affordable and simple yet efficient USB will do, for saving loads and loads of files...

Most problems with USB drives are due to wear. They can and will break when insterted/removed too many times.

That said, I bought a 2GB USB drive at Wal-Mart last week for $39.99.

go to radioshack and get the 4 gb cruiser drive by san disk

I have 1 GB cruiser from sandisk and it's not working on any laptop.
