im going on to my third semester and would still confused what to do when i finish my course

I have a couple of suggestions. I have been in IT (information technology) for the last 20 years.
I would start by going to some of the fortune 100 companies websites and do a search on internships. Try IBM, ATT, Verizon, HP, Microsoft...
You have to remember that many jobs in the Computing and IT world are going overseas but don't be discouraged. A few of my friends have actually taken jobs in India. The pay is not like America or Europe but the cost of living is very low in India, the Indians would love to have you and the IT pay is well above average in india.
Anyway, I don't know you specifics, as far as what you were taught but also try MONSTER.COM and some of the other employment websites.

Plumbers make good money especially if you are self employed and can do gas as well. Otherwise, if you learned anything on your course go self employed.
