Waynbudd is right, adding more RAM would make a noticeable positive difference. The fastest P3 CPU was 1.4 GHz, so if you can find one (and you motherboard supports it) that would also definitely help.

not much RAM.... I added 256 to the 256 I already had in my P3 Dell - cost about $35.00 - and made a noticeable difference!

You might try adding a 512 ram chip to your system you likely be able to notice a differance almost as soon as you boot into your operating system.

upgrade to AMD series and with 512 MB RAM. i would recommand you AMD as it is cheap and best when compared to pentium series.
