im a bangladeshi girl n ive got a pakistani boyfriend. we've been 2gether 4 ages n i can't think about leavin him, i wan my parents 2 accept him but im scared that they will hate him n disown me at the same time, i dnt kno what 2 do, i really need ur help ppl!!!!!

i understand certain cultural differences particularly in your part of the world ; but love has no boundaries , and you should not be subjected to them --- but alas ; life's not that easy .
you'll need to "wean " them ( your parents ) to the belief that all is not 'doom and gloom' and you would like very much to make a go of it with your Pakistani friend and you would very much like them to contribute to this success --- ( after all why spend good money on awasted erffort ) which indeed because of their 'shortsightedness ' allow their duaghter to go ' feral ' and 'disobey ' their " beliefs " --- for what --- they lose a daughter and you run off and marry anyway !!! no winners ; no phone ; no hope --- and no love --- which would be tragic !

When are people going to take each person indivdually? I'm really sorry to hear this.I wouldn't tell them.If u know they are going to disown u then wait.Talk to your parents about pakistani people.Let them know that u have nothing against them.That people should take each person indivdually.Take it one step at a time. Just first let them know your veiws.It's kinda like prepareing them for the shock. I would wait for awhile until u have talk to them alot on your views. Good luck hon.

Have your parents met him yet because it doesn't sound like they have from your question, try introducing him as just a friend and see how they take it, you don't have to tell your parents that you are in love with him, break him in gently. Good luck.

this is tough, I'm married to an Albanian muslim guy, and was brought up white british catholic, and telling my dad about him was very scary, but he accepted it because it made me happy.
I know that in cultures like your parents case they will probably be stricter,but if you stick to your guns, they will have the choice to accept it or lose you, as a parent, I know what decision i would make

Same religion so there shouldn't really be any issues except of course the war in 1971, but you should be fine as long as you don't mention it.

No, i do not. i did not improve up with them, and they are like strangers to me. I respect them through actual undeniable truth that they are my father and mom, yet it truly is about it. I continuously tell my little ones i respect them, and continuously enable them recognize that they are loved a lot and continuously will be loved, no be counted what.

are u muslim? because if you are then your parents shouldnt have a problem with it. try and talk to them and just let it out. its better than running away to get married. i know exactly what u mean, these sorts of things have happened too many times in my family.
